About Us

SCANH (Supply Chain Advancement Network in Health) is a non-profit organization dedicated to driving positive change in healthcare supply chains. Supported by funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, we are committed to benefiting patients, providers, and communities nationwide. While industries outside of healthcare have embraced supply chain best practices to enhance safety and efficiency, the healthcare sector lags behind. The absence of strategic supply chain management impedes our ability to meet the escalating demand for safe care while striving to improve efficiency, control costs, and deliver value to patients.

At SCAN Health, we believe that reimagining clinical supply chain processes holds the key to mitigating adverse event, crises and revolutionizing care delivery. Our location at the University of Windsor provides us with a unique platform to collaborate, innovate, and drive impactful change in the healthcare supply chain landscape.

Join us in our mission to transform healthcare supply chains for the betterment of all.

Vision

To fortify the resilience of healthcare supply chain pathways within Canadian health systems.

Mission

Through collaborative efforts with experts and organizations, we aim to gather valuable insights from disruptions and uncover innovative solutions. Our goal is to enhance the agility of healthcare supply chains, proactively managing disruptions in the supply of products critical for delivering patient care.
