Securing trust in the global COVID-19 supply chain

A recent event hosted by GS1 brought together senior healthcare industry leaders from Deloitte, The World Bank, the European Association of Hospital Pharmacists and the World Health Organization to discuss some of the key challenges and opportunities and early learnings presented by the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccines worldwide. The use of global standards provides the foundation to generate trust between supply chain organizations and ultimately within the populations who will be vaccinated.
